The LUNA-STEM™ takes adipose-derived stem cell and SVF samples to count live nucleated cells, dead nucleated cells, and non-nucleated cells with precision and consistency for downstream procedures.
When using tissue-derived cells such as stem cells or the cells from the adipose stromal vascular fraction (SVF), knowing cell concentration and viability is crucial to ensure and control the quality of downstream procedures. Tissue-derived samples are often contaminated with red blood cells and noncellular debris, making cell counting a time-consuming, subjective, and error-prone process. The LUNA-STEM™ is equipped with dual fluorescence and brightfield optics to distinguish live and dead nucleated cells from non-nucleated cells. Samples are stained with nucleic acid dyes to determine the concentration and viability of mononucleated cells. Non-nucleated cells are distinguished from debris and also counted. In as little as 30 seconds, the LUNA-STEM™ reports total cell concentration, nucleated cell concentration, non-nucleated cell concentration, cell viability, and average cell size. A high-resolution image with live cells labeled with green circles and dead cells with red circles can be viewed to confirm data visually.
Consistent and accurate day after day!The LUNA-STEM Counter is very quick, effective, and accurate. We use the LUNA-STEM Counter on a daily basis and have run into no troubles for 2 years now. In addition we are a consumer of the LUNA-STEM Slides and AOPI Fluorescent dye, both of which are very inexpensive and extremely obtainable - with help from outstanding customer service. Definitely worth the money.
Best cell counting. Reliable and easy to use.We use it to count mononucleated cells. Very useful and easy to use. Perfect for our daily use.
